Audit Senior

Role Purpose - Audit Senior

Manage a client portfolio, deliver high-quality financial reporting and tax compliance services, oversee audit engagements, and provide technical/commercial advice. Support growth by mentoring and supervising junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients across varied industries.

• Prepare and review financial statements (sole traders, partnerships, limited companies).

• Prepare and review corporation and income tax returns.

• Lead audits from planning to completion in line with auditing standards.

• Meet clients to present accounts, discuss results, and provide proactive advice.

• Assist clients with regulatory and compliance requirements.

• Review and supervise work of junior and part-qualified staff, providing feedback and training.

• Liaise with senior management on complex technical issues.

• Deliver assignments on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Skills & Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CPA (or equivalent) qualified or finalist.

• 3-5 years' practice experience.

• Strong knowledge of accounting, auditing, and tax compliance.

• Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills.

• Experience mentoring and supervising staff.

• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple assignments.

• Commercially aware with ability to provide advisory input.
