A leading global professional services firm is continuing to invest in its International and Complex Tax practice and is looking to appoint an experienced International Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join its growing team. The Opportunity
You'll play a leading role in delivering strategic international tax advice across a wide range of industries, supporting clients through acquisitions, restructurings, international expansion and changing global tax legislation. Working as part of a highly collaborative team, you'll coordinate cross-border projects, manage key client relationships and help shape innovative solutions to complex tax challenges. This is a predominantly advisory-focused role, offering the opportunity to work on market-leading projects with direct exposure to senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of international and complex corporate tax advisory projects for multinational businesses and UK-headquartered groups.
- Advise clients on cross-border structuring, refinancing, legal entity simplification, business reorganisations and operating model redesign.
- Support clients with international expansion, acquisitions, disposals and wider strategic transactions.
- Provide guidance on evolving international tax developments, including BEPS 2.0, Pillar Two and wider global tax reform.
- Assist clients with tax authority enquiries, tax governance and complex technical issues.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a strategic adviser on international tax matters.
- Collaborate with specialists across Corporate Tax, Deal Advisory, Transfer Pricing and overseas offices to deliver integrated solutions.
- Lead project delivery, manage budgets and oversee the work of junior team members.
- Contribute to business development through networking, proposals, client presentations and thought leadership.
About You
- ACA, CTA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong UK Corporate Tax experience, with significant exposure to advisory work.
- Experience advising multinational groups on international tax matters and cross-border transactions.
- A solid understanding of international tax principles and current global tax developments.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to deliver practical, client-focused advice.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
