Job description:
We're hiring a management accountant to take ownership of the finance function within a growth, leading software development business in London. You'll be joining a fast paced environment where stronger financial oversight is needed. You'll work closely with a strong Financial Controller who is looking for someone to support the finance team and wider business on finance related matters as well as up skilling where appropriate. This role suits someone confident, steady under pressure, and hungry. You'll play a key role in shaping how finance operates as the company continues to expand.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day operations of the finance function including account receivables and payables, ensuring processes run smoothly.
- Analyse monthly group financials across multiple entities
- responsible for budgeting and forecasting to support financial planning and decision making.
- Streamlined finance processes to make reporting quicker and more accurate.
- Support audit processes and ensured compliance with financial controls
- Produce monthly management accounts for senior management review.
What would the ideal person look like:
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in group reporting or financial analysis
- Experiennce in SaaS/Software Developement is essential
- Confident navigating ERP/reporting tools
- Comfortable collaborating across multiple teams
- Curious, proactive, and eager to make a difference
