Job description:

We're hiring a Financial Controller to lead and strengthen the finance function within a high-growth, leading SaaS business in Central London. You'll step into a fast-paced environment where tighter controls, accurate reporting, and operational discipline are critical, working closely with an experienced CFO to ensure the integrity of financial information and support the wider business with clear, reliable insight. This role suits a confident, detail-oriented professional who performs well under pressure and is motivated to build effective processes, raise standards, and play a central role in shaping a scalable finance function as the company continues to grow.

Roles and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day to day finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year end close.
• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in line with IFRS, ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead statutory reporting, audits, and ensure full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strong financial controls, processes, and governance across the business.
• Manage cash flow, balance sheet integrity, and working capital performance.
• Supervise and develop the finance team, driving high standards and continuous improvement.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide reliable financial reporting and operational insight to support decision-making.
  
  

What would the ideal person look like:

• Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Previous experience in SaaS companies is essential
• Strong experience in group reporting or financial analysis
• Confident navigating ERP/reporting tools
• Comfortable collaborating across multiple teams
• Curious, proactive, and eager to make a difference
