Head of Legal

Our client, a leading charity, are looking for a Head of Legal to join their team based in London.

Responsibilities below:

• Provide legal and statutory advice to the Chief Executive, Chief Financial Officer, EST and the Chair and Board of Trustees in relation to legal issues and the development of policies and procedures
• Ensure the company is compliant with all relevant legal, statutory, and regulatory responsibilities; and keep up-to-date with all relevant areas of the law and provide legal advice advising in relation to other regulatory issues such as safeguarding, complaints, money laundering, gambling commission
• Lead the Legal Team ensuring the skills and capabilities are developed within the team to meet the demands placed on the team by the organisation and foster a partnership approach with the organisation to ensure that needs and expectations are understood and met when providing legal advice
• Be an active member of the Leadership Team

Previous experience leading Legal teams is preferred.
