- Location: Wimbledon, South West London (Hybrid: 2 days/week onsite, 3 days remote)
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role
We are partnering with a leading, rapidly expanding global education group to appoint a Group EPM Specialist to lead the architecture, delivery and ongoing optimisation of their Enterprise Performance Management platform.
Operating across an international portfolio, the group is undertaking a major finance transformation. In this role, you will act as the internal subject matter expert, partnering closely with Group Finance, FP&A, Tax, Technology and external Solution Integrators (SI) to design, build and embed a scalable, AI-enabled finance platform.
From hands-on solution design and data integrations pre-go-live to continuous enhancements and BAU platform administration, you will ensure the EPM ecosystem directly powers strategic decision-making and group-wide reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- EPM Strategy & Solution Architecture: Define dimensional models, metadata structures, business rules and governance frameworks aligned with the finance transformation roadmap.
- Implementation & Build: Partner with external implementation partners during project delivery; participate in model design for budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidations, tax provisioning and management reporting.
- System Integration & Data Management: Support seamless integrations between the EPM platform and core upstream systems, including NetSuite (ERP), Workday, HubSpot, data warehouses and BI tools. Lead data mapping, metadata pipeline standardisation and historical reconciliations prior to go-live.
- Automation & AI Innovation: Explore and leverage native EPM AI capabilities and automation frameworks to enhance forecasting accuracy, exception detection and financial insights.
- Testing & Go-Live Readiness: Lead functional solution testing, validate integration interfaces, resolve defects and ensure readiness for operational cutover.
- BAU Administration & Post-Go-Live Support: Act as the long-term system owner, managing regular dimension updates, business rules, allocations, platform health, release cycles and support ticket resolution.
- Stakeholder Management & Governance: Translate complex technical concepts into business solutions for senior finance stakeholders across Group FP&A, Tax and Treasury.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven EPM Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with leading enterprise CPM/EPM platforms such as OneStream, Oracle EPM Cloud, or Oracle Hyperion (or equivalent).
- Full Lifecycle Experience: Demonstrable track record across multiple end-to-end EPM implementations, covering design, build, testing and transition into BAU support.
- Finance & Accounting Acumen: Strong foundational knowledge of statutory consolidation, management reporting, FP&A processes and tax provisioning.
- ERP & Integration Familiarity: Working knowledge of upstream ERP data structures and architectures (experience with NetSuite is highly desirable).
- Collaborative Mindset: Confident working alongside external systems integrators (SIs) and communicating effectively with senior non-technical finance leaders.
