Job description:
We're hiring a Finance Controller to take full ownership of the finance function within a growing telecommunications business in London. You'll be joining a fast paced environment where stronger financial oversight is needed to support scale, multinational consolidation, and operational discipline. You'll work closely with a strong Finance Director and CFO who is looking for someone to support the finance team and wider business on finance related matters as well as up-skilling where appropriate. This role suits someone adaptable, steady under pressure, and comfortable working in a changing environment. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in shaping how finance operates as the company continues to expand.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day operations of the finance function, ensuring processes run smoothly.
- Take full ownership of audit and financial reporting, maintaining accuracy and transparency.
- Ensure all regulatory and compliance obligations are met across the business.
- Lead finance improvement and transformation projects to strengthen operations and efficiency. This involves optimising a netsuite implementation as well as ensuring other systems are all working in alignment.
- Oversee and help support overseas entities with consolidated monthly accounts.
- Support the business with regulatory and compliance within overseas entities
What would the ideal person look like:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent). 3+ years experience post qualification
- ERP implementation system experience
- Experience in Netsuite
- Manage the company's PO system and related processes
