A leading Big 4 accountancy practice is looking to appoint a Director to join its Global Tax Managed Services & Transformation team.
The team supports multinational groups and financial services organisations in managing their global tax compliance, reporting and statutory accounting obligations through outsourcing, co-sourcing and large-scale transformation programmes. Clients increasingly rely on these services to improve visibility, reduce risk and modernise their tax operating models using technology and automation.
This is a senior leadership role combining client delivery, team leadership and business development, working on large international engagements and complex tax operating model transformations.
The Role
As a Director, you will play a key role in growing the managed services practice while leading the delivery of complex global engagements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of large UK and global tax and accounting compliance managed service engagements
- Overseeing the implementation of transformation programmes designed to modernise tax compliance and reporting processes
- Driving the adoption of technology-enabled tax solutions and automation to improve efficiency and governance
- Designing and implementing tax operating models, governance frameworks and risk controls
- Managing relationships with senior client stakeholders and acting as a trusted adviser to tax and finance leadership teams
- Leading large multi-disciplinary teams, including onshore and offshore delivery teams
- Coaching and developing senior managers and managers within the team
- Identifying opportunities for additional services and supporting business development and growth initiatives
- Contributing to the development of new service offerings and delivery models within the managed services practice.
About You
- Extensive experience in tax compliance, reporting or tax transformation programmes
- Strong understanding of global tax processes, including corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing or statutory accounting
- Experience leading large multi-jurisdictional projects or managed service engagements
- Strong track record of client relationship management and business development
- Proven experience leading and developing large teams and complex project delivery
- Interest in tax technology, automation and data-driven compliance solutions
- ACA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualification (or qualified by experience).
