A growing, London-based accountancy firm is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Manager into its expanding, advisory-led team. Backed by an international network and with a strong reputation for delivering a high-touch, partner-led service, the firm continues to attract a diverse client base that would typically sit with larger practices. The opportunity
You'll join a collaborative Corporate Tax team with clear separation from Personal Tax, allowing for deeper technical focus and strong internal support. The role offers ownership of a varied client portfolio, spanning OMBs, SMEs and larger international groups across sectors including real estate, technology, healthcare and media. Alongside core compliance, you'll be heavily involved in advisory projects covering structuring, transactions and cross-border work.
The role
Working closely with partners, you'll take ownership of your own portfolio while contributing to wider advisory initiatives and team development.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing and reviewing complex corporation tax compliance assignments
- Delivering advisory work across structuring, transactions and international projects
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, HMRC and third parties
- Supporting partners with high-quality technical input across a range of projects
- Identifying planning opportunities and providing commercially focused solutions
- Undertaking technical research and presenting clear, practical recommendations
- Managing deadlines across a varied and growing client portfolio
- Mentoring and developing junior team members, including delivering internal training
- Collaborating on business development and contributing to the growth of the team
About you
- ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified
- Strong corporate tax experience across both compliance and advisory
- Technically strong, with the ability to apply knowledge in a commercial context
- Confident communicator, comfortable dealing directly with clients and stakeholders
- Proactive, solutions-focused and detail-oriented
- Collaborative in approach, with experience supporting and developing junior staff
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Exposure to specialist areas such as REITs or creative sector claims is beneficial but not essential
