Role Overview:
The Business Analysis Manager will play a key leadership role within the company, responsible for overseeing a team of Business Analysts while leading strategic analysis initiatives across a variety of legal-focused projects. The successful candidate must have substantial experience in the legal industry, with the ability to deliver high-impact business analysis and process improvements that align with our organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Business Analysis team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality analysis across multiple projects and programs.
- Oversee the gathering and documentation of business requirements, working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective solutions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define the strategic direction of the BA function and align it with organizational goals.
- Ensure the successful delivery of legal industry-specific transformation initiatives, driving improvements in processes, systems, and client service delivery.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Business Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across legal, operations, IT, and finance teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Champion best practices in business analysis, ensuring the team adheres to methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall, depending on project needs.
- Manage resource allocation across the BA team, ensuring optimal support for all projects and the timely completion of deliverables.
- Act as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders, presenting findings, business cases, and project updates as required.
- Continuously evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, cost-saving measures, and increased operational efficiency.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analysis Manager or Senior Business Analyst, with a strong background in the legal industry.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing business analysis teams and delivering successful projects in a complex, professional services environment.
- In-depth knowledge of legal processes, systems, and industry challenges, with the ability to provide insights and solutions specific to the legal sector.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing and empowering teams.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering tangible business improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, IT, or a related field. A professional certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, BCS) is preferred but not essential.
