Morgan McKinley is pleased to collaborate with our client located in Limerick, an established and growing company, in their search for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant. This opportunity offers the flexibility of hybrid work, providing you the chance to directly interface with the finance manager. In your role, you will oversee critical monthly accounting and reporting functions, as well as lead audit and financial compliance initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the policies, practices, and strategies within the finance domain, further solidifying the organisation's financial stability and growing success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts.
- Review and distribution of various monthly financial reports.
- Preparation of the annual budgets as well as monthly forecasts.
- Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliation files.
- Lead and support global governance policy initiatives.
- Lead year-end external audits and manage any internal audit requests, ensuring all corporate deadlines are met.
- Handle corporation tax calculations and manage transfer pricing-related matters.
- Oversee VAT return submissions and review PAYE return submissions.
- Ad-hoc finance projects as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Accounting Qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA with at least 4 years PQE
- A structured and processed style of working with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated audit experience, with a focus on financial control and compliance.
- Strong understanding of corporate tax and transfer pricing regulations.
- Experience leading external audits and managing corporate finance policies.
- Strong ability to communicate complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
