This position requires travel to Dublin West/ Kildare and candidates must have access to public or their own transport and be available to travel.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver/working with a team to design and deliver innovative solutions to client needs, leveraging and utilising Industry design patterns to deliver scalable and extensible solutions.
- Coding new developments/enhancements, identifying and implementing integration tests and automating tests.
- Participating in peer reviews of code and providing system test support.
Requirements
- Third level qualification in Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline.
- Significant Java/J2EE development experience.
- Demonstrated industry expertise in one of, systems analysis & design, software development, object orientated design, agile.
- Significant experience with Java, web services, SQL, unit/ integration test, Junit.
- Demonstrable experience with Angular, spring, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, tomcat, Hadoop, REST, groovy.
- Database Development & Administration in - Oracle, SQL Server in particular and Multiple Operating Systems.
- Experience in implementation of Software Patterns; Web Design and Development.
- Be in commutable distance to Dublin West/ Kildare.
