An established SaaS company is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join its high-performing design team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to drive end-to-end design across complex web and mobile platforms, leading problem definition, design system growth, and team-wide AI tool adoption in a fast-paced environment.
Role Overview
The Senior Product Designer will own problems end to end-from ambiguous starting points through to delivered solutions. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will lead design discovery, contribute to the design system, and champion usability, accessibility, and modern AI-driven workflows across the organisation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership & Execution: Lead end-to-end design processes from discovery to delivery, maintain design systems, and embed accessibility and usability best practices.
- Discovery & Problem Definition: Frame ambiguous requests into clear problems, explore multiple approaches before recommending a solution, and continuously refine directions as new information emerges.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Identify and engage key stakeholders independently, securing alignment and articulating clear design rationale across technical and senior audiences.
- Domain Expertise & Mentorship: Rapidly build subject-matter expertise in complex or regulated domains and mentor colleagues on design best practices.
Experience & Skills
- 6+ years' experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end web and mobile design, covering discovery and definition through to final delivery
- Proven track record leading discovery, exploring multiple design directions, and building stakeholder consensus
- Hands-on experience working with and contributing to design systems
- Practical experience using AI tools in design/product workflows and an interest in driving team adoption
- Proven ability to lead design in fast-paced, agile environments
- Proven proficiency in interaction design, visual design, accessibility standards, and complex information architecture
