General Operative - Laboratory Background - Sample Reception/Punching
Location: Co. Kildare
Contract Type: Temporary - Minimum 12 weeks, potential for extension

We at Morgan McKinley are delighted to be partnering with a client who are seeking General Operatives with a laboratory background to join their Sample Reception/Punching Department. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, laboratory-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare BVD samples for processing
- Follow internal procedures and complete required training
- Carry out daily tasks as directed by the laboratory manager or supervisor
- Maintain accurate and high-quality documentation
Candidate Requirements
Successful candidates will:
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when required
- Meet set targets and deadlines
- Have basic computer skills
- Communicate clearly in written and spoken English
- Have full right to work within Ireland.
- Live in Co. Kildare or be able to reliably commute to the site
Working Pattern
- Initially Tuesday to Friday (4-day week)
- During peak periods, Monday and Saturday may also be required
- Approximately 4 Saturdays depending on sample volumes
