Morgan McKinley is delighted to be representing our client, a leading global organization, in their search for a Global Finance Manager. This is a strategic and highly impactful role focused on the execution and delivery of the Global Financial Statements Programme within their Global Financial Solutions (GFS) hub.
Reporting to the RTR Director, you will be the driving force responsible for translating strategic direction into disciplined programme execution. This role concentrates on the automation of Global Compliance reporting, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and maintain a strong customer focus.
Programme Leadership: Take end-to-end accountability for the Global Financial Statements Programme, managing the statutory reporting lifecycle across 80+ countries and 4,000+ audit datasets.
Technical Oversight: Provide robust technical accounting oversight in the review of local statutory statements, assessing complex accounting matters and ensuring consistency in the application of policies (US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP).
Systems Transformation: Lead the requirements definition and deployment of financial reporting technology solutions, partnering with IT and Finance Technology teams to drive end-to-end automation.
Controllership & Compliance: Maintain ledger integrity and ensure strict financial compliance with the worldwide Controller's manual, SOX requirements, and all applicable global laws.
Stakeholder & Audit Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors (including EY) and internal tax teams, orchestrating year-end audits and ensuring timely delivery of requirements.
Operational Excellence: Manage and direct the accounting close process, overseeing month-end transactions, P&L analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations for your assigned markets.
Qualified Professional: Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) with a fundamental understanding of operating within a multi-country RTR environment.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition, and Irish statutory/tax reporting requirements.
Experience: Proven track record in a similar multinational organization, preferably with Big Four experience managing Fortune 500 clients.
Project Management: Highly developed coordination skills with experience delivering large, cross-functional initiatives and leveraging technology to optimize business processes.
Systems Orientation: Proficiency in ERP products (Oracle, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (VBA, macros, etc.).
Leadership Traits: A self-driven team player with the ability to influence diverse audiences and work effectively across different cultures.
