Core Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting and capital expenditure (CapEx) planning processes across global business units.
- Develop and maintain rolling 12-month, 3-year, and 5-year integrated financial forecast models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Establish corporate target-setting frameworks aligned with long-term strategic and macroeconomic objectives.
Performance Analysis & Management Reporting
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget/Forecast) to the CFO and executive committee.
- Design and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and executive dashboards to track commercial and operational health.
- Synthesize complex financial results into high-impact presentations for Board of Directors and investor relations meetings.
Strategic Business Partnering & Decision Support
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to regional directors, product leads, and functional executives to drive margin expansion.
- Conduct rigorous financial evaluation for strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), market expansions, and product launches.
- Perform pricing optimization, unit economic assessments, and customer/product profitability analysis.
Advanced Modeling & Scenario Analysis
- Build sophisticated scenario-planning and sensitivity models to quantify financial risks and opportunities under varying market conditions.
- Drive data-backed recommendations around capital allocation, cost-containment, and working capital optimization.
System Optimization & Process Automation
- Standardize and automate FP&A workflows, reporting templates, and data extraction to scale financial operations.
- Supervise the integration of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools (e.g., Anaplan, OneStream, Hyperion).
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team of financial analysts and senior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Oversee workload distribution, performance reviews, and career progression pathways within the finance organization.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree holder from a globally recognised university
- Professional accountancy qualification
- A minimum of 10-12 years of relevant progressive career experience gained from
- Excellent command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin
