Responsibilities
Strategy and Insights
- Develop and execute the data analytics and AI strategy for healthcare initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Build strong partnerships with business units to identify opportunities and translate business needs into analytics projects.
Analytics and data management
- Oversee the development and implementation of advanced analytics models, including predictive and prescriptive analytics, to address business challenges.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of medical claims data to identify cost-saving opportunities, fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA).
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports to support decision-making across various functions like sales, marketing, and operations.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security by establishing and maintaining robust data governance policies and procedures.
- Explore and leverage both structured and unstructured data for channel, customer, and benefit utilization analysis.
Technology and innovation
- Lead the deployment of advanced machine learning and AI solutions to enhance business performance.
- Collaborate with technology teams to ensure data capture, integration, and access from various sources.
- Monitor emerging trends in data analytics and AI, and recommend innovative approaches for continuous improvement.
Communication and stakeholder management
- Communicate data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical, and operations, to integrate analytics into core business processes.
- Provide guidance to internal teams and stakeholders on data literacy and the use of analytics for decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree holder in STEM with at least 8-12 years of relevant experience gained in Insurance or Healthcare industry
- Solid technical skills in advanced analytics, automation of reporting, machine learning techniques and algorithms
