Senior Backend Engineer, Global Investment Bank

A leading investment bank is looking for an experienced backend/full-stack engineer to join their dynamic team. Be a part of a hardworking group with a flat culture, dedicated to achieving the best engineering results within the FS-industry. The engineer will work on customer facing applications.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Agile environment to implement innovative business ideas across the organization
• Participate in the full development lifecycle to deliver value to stakeholders
• Collaborate globally to drive platform resiliency and scalability
• Provide level 3 user support during regional hours
• Mentor new team members

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in Java development
• Experience with SQL, automated testing and CICD
• Excellent architectural knowledge and experience working with frameworks & distributed environments
• Experience with HTML, Angular, JavaScript and Typescript is desired
• Experience with C#, WPF and Python is desired
• Prior financial services work experience is desired
• Excellent communications skills, able to communicate clearly and effectively
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• Hong Kong passport or work-permit required
