Responsibilities
Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise dashboards using Power BI and Databricks AI/BI Dashboards.
Build scalable Power BI semantic models, advanced DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and interactive reporting experiences.
Create, configure, test, and continuously improve Databricks Genie Agents for approved business domains
Develop Genie Agent instructions, business definitions, synonyms, sample SQL queries, trusted assets, and benchmark questions.
Review and troubleshoot natural‑language‑to‑SQL outputs to ensure accurate filters, joins, calculations, aggregations, and business interpretations.
Design governed dimensional models, metric definitions, and reusable semantic layers across reporting and conversational analytics.
Document KPI definitions, data lineage, calculation logic, assumptions, ownership, and refresh requirements.
Apply appropriate security and governance controls using row filters, column masks, and Power BI row‑level security.
Optimize SQL queries, semantic models, dashboards, and analytical datasets for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Conduct data validation, reconciliation, UAT, production‑readiness reviews, and post‑production support.
Partner with business and technical teams to reduce manual reporting and improve adoption of governed self‑service analytics.
Contribute to group‑wide standards for dashboard development, semantic modelling, Genie Agent configuration, testing, and deployment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Over 5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data engineering, or enterprise reporting.
Advanced hands‑on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, semantic modelling, workspace administration, security, deployment, and performance optimization.
Strong experience with Databricks SQL and AI/BI Dashboards.
Practical experience creating or managing Databricks Genie Agents/Spaces, including instructions, semantic metadata, example SQL, testing, monitoring, and accuracy improvement.
Expert‑level SQL skills and strong knowledge of dimensional modelling, star schemas, facts, dimensions, relationships, and data‑grain management.
Understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, privacy, access control, and production‑release processes.
Experience translating complex business requirements into trusted and user‑friendly analytical products.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business and senior stakeholders.
Microsoft Power BI and Databricks certifications are advantageous.
Strong written and spoken English.
