Commodity Analyst (Quantitative Trading, Mining)

About the role:

Currently seeking a skilled Commodity Analyst with 3-6 years of relevant experience in quantamental analysis to join the dynamic Trading team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the deployment and management of algorithmic trading systems and ensuring timely updates of market and fundamental data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quantamental analysis combining quantitative models with fundamental market insights.

• Assist in the deployment and maintenance of algorithmic trading systems focused on commodity markets.

• Continuously update and analyze market and fundamental data to support trading decisions.

• Engage in trading activities involving LME, CME, SGX, SHFE, and OTC derivatives products.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize trading strategies and risk management.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in commodity markets with a strong background in quantamental analysis.

• Proven experience in algorithmic trading system deployment and monitoring.

• Familiarity with trading and derivatives products on exchanges such as LME (London Metal Exchange), CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange), SGX (Singapore Exchange), SHFE (Shanghai Futures Exchange), and OTC markets.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment.
