Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Planning:
Develops and implements long-term financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets to support company growth and strategic initiatives.
- Financial Operations Oversight:
Manages all financial departments, including accounting, accounts payable/receivable, treasury, and taxation.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Oversees the preparation of financial reports, analyzes financial data to identify trends, and provides insights to the executive team.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
Ensures the company complies with all relevant financial regulations and standards, implements internal controls, and manages financial risks.
- Capital and Investment Management:
Manages capital structure, debt, and investments, and plays a role in raising capital and negotiating mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
- Leadership and Team Management:
Leads and directs the finance and accounting teams, appointing managers, and fostering a high-performing department.
- Stakeholder Relations:
Builds and maintains strong relationships with investors, shareholders, lenders, and other external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a globally recognised university
- 18-20 years of proven experience gained from MNCs, with relevant exposure on the industries with physical products
- Excellent command of English, and preferably Cantonese and Mandarin
- Exceptional stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills; whilst is able to be perform hands-on work
