About The Role
As a Marine Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for overseeing technical support and operation maintenance responsibilities for marine application & vessel communication electronic systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for site work such as but not limited to maintenance, testing & commissioning, troubleshooting for vessel communication electronic systems such as but not limited to Radar (JRC/ Furuno), AIS Class A/B, VSAT, GMDSS, VDR/SVDR (JRC/ Danelec/ Interschalt), etc
- Execute electronic system integration, assembly, system configuration, programming and commissioning on marine navigation and communication equipment on marine vessels
- Handle system faults/ defects and carry out the process of troubleshoot to overcome the incident at hand
- Conduct rootcause analysis on cases of equipment failures identified or reported during the stages of testing & commissioningand corrective and preventive maintenance of electronic systems
Job Requirements
- Higher Diploma or Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in Electronics and Information Engineering or any other relevant discipline of studies in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of technical support and operation maintenance experience, preferably obtained within a sizeable enterprise
- Knowledgeable in marine application & vessel communication electronic systems is a must
- Fluency in both written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
- A candidate with a can do attitude who is willing to overcome obstacles within daily operations
- Candidate with more experience will be considered for the title of Senior Marine Service Engineer
