Assistant Manager, Operational Risk Management (Banking)

Our client is a well-established bank incorporated in Hong Kong, providing a wide range of retail, commercial, and corporate banking products and services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operational risk policies for the bank.
• Advise and support the Business Unit on operational risk matters.
• Review and analyse operational incidents, assess the associated operational risk level across banking products, services, and workflows, and propose solutions to reduce risk.
• Execute required risk and control measures in line with Basel requirements to ensure the bank meets internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Degree holder with at least 2 years of relevant experience in operational risk or internal audit within the banking industry.
• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements for the banking industry.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.
