Key Responsibilities:
- Assess clients' IT challenges and security needs, providing expert advisory services by designing and proposing customized security solutions.
- Develop pre-sales materials, including proposals, statements of work, presentations, and training resources.
- Source supplier quotes for bills of materials (BOM), prepare product descriptions and pricing, and generate client quotations.
- Coordinate with third-party suppliers and partners to facilitate deal closures.
- Offer technical and pre-sales insights to product teams to influence development strategies.
- Stay updated on current security solutions, market products/services, and emerging industry technologies.
- Collaborate with security services delivery and customer support teams to ensure smooth service provisioning.
- Adhere to information security policies, protect organizational assets, and report any security incidents per established procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 4 years of experience in security presales positions; candidates with more experience may be considered for a senior role.
- Professional certifications like CISSP, CISA, or ISO 27001 are advantageous.
- Hands-on experience installing and configuring software on Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms.
- Strong expertise in security technologies, including firewalls (e.g., Fortigate, Check Point), EDR, email security, IAM/PAM, and related solutions such as network IDS/IPS, DLP, cloud security, DDoS protection, web application firewalls, vulnerability assessments, endpoint security, SIEM, and SOC operations.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in oral and written English and Chinese.
