We are seeking an experienced Utilities Engineer to join a premier, global biopharmaceutical leader. Supporting a new fill-finish facility, driving the operational readiness and system handover of clean and plant utilities for a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
Establish asset management structures in IBM Maximo, managing asset hierarchies, preventative maintenance plans, job plans, and work order setups.
Oversee instrument classification, conduct criticality assessments, establish critical control device setups, and ensure calibration job plans and loop checks are completed.
Evaluate vendor recommendations to build approved spare parts lists, coordinate Z-number creation, manage budget allocations, and review technical vendor SLAs.
Actively participate in hands-on commissioning activities, field walkdowns, initial calibrations, and system handovers alongside project teams and vendors.
Draft, review, and track cGMP/GDP-compliant equipment SOPs, execute change controls, and support technical risk assessments and investigations.
Skills, Attributes & Experience
Third-level degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
3+ years of engineering experience within a regulated cGMP pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Proven background supporting utility systems (including clean utilities, plant utilities, HVAC, or controlled-temperature units), greenfield start-ups, or maintenance readiness.
Strong practical mechanical troubleshooting capability with exceptional communication skills to align cross-functional teams and external vendors.
