Position Overview:
Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Team Leader to lead, support, and coach our growing outbound sales team. The successful candidate will initially manage a team of 6 Sales Executives, with plans for the team to expand to 10 members. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a sales environment and is passionate about coaching others to achieve their full potential.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your team, ensuring they meet their key performance indicators whilst managing your own sales leads. You will play a crucial role in motivating, encouraging, and developing your team members, ensuring they excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6 Sales Executives, with the team growing to 10 members in the future.
- Monitor and manage team performance to ensure KPIs and sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Provide coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance.
- Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings with team members to review progress, address challenges, and provide support.
- Foster a positive and motivating team environment, encouraging collaboration and healthy competition.
- Identify and address performance issues promptly, offering support and solutions to improve results.
- Train and onboard new team members as the team expands, ensuring they are equipped to succeed.
- Work closely with management to report on team performance and share insights for optimizing the sales process.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a sales environment, ideally with outbound sales and team management experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to analyse performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Highly motivated, positive, and energetic attitude with a passion for achieving results.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- A team player who is willing to lead by example and foster a collaborative work environment.
