The main purpose of the role of the Sustainability Analyst is to support the execution of the Sustainability Strategy. The candidate will support the Sustainability Programme Manager to manage execute our Sustainability Strategy including activities relating to sustainability reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage specific initiatives and deliverables under the Sustainability Strategy including the Sponsorship Committee and our Education Partnerships.
- Support internal and external communications on the Group Sustainability Strategy.
- Preparation of a suite of performance reports and metrics for the Group's executive leadership team.
- Action Framework and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
- Support activities relating to our annual Carbon Footprint Assessment
- Ensure strategic and business issues and proposed solutions are highlighted appropriately to the Head of Strategy & Sustainability.
- Prepare and present robust, accurate and timely information on new and emerging trends to inform the organisation's approach to sustainability.
- Develop and maintain critical internal and external relationships to support the successful performance of the role.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ year's experience in a similar role
- Qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline
- Strong business acumen and commercial understanding
- Excellent presentation and report writing skills with the ability to take information and present it to stakeholders
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure of deadlines
- Knowledge of sustainability strategic planning and execution including
- Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting is helpful but not essential.
