Morgan McKinley with a leading multinational healthcare company to recruit a Supply Chain Manager. This is a permanent role based in Dublin with hybrid working options.
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's end-to-end supply chain operations with a particular focus on working with globally based CMOs. This role involves coordinating and optimizing the procurement, manufacturing, and distribution processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality standards. The Supply Chain Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, and CMOs to drive continuous improvement and support the company's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage and develop a dynamic product portfolio to ensure maximum product availability and customer service level
- Monitor and evaluate CMO performance to ensure compliance with quality standards, timelines, and cost targets.
- Lead demand management to ensure that all the relevant inputs from other functions are included in the future demand plans.
- Ensure S&OP is established and maintained by partnering with key stakeholders at a local and global level.
- Communicate with plan with suppliers to manage stock availability, supplier order fulfilment lead times, safety stock and mitigate out of stocks
- Maintain and influence Supplier performance through positive relationship management.
- Proactively developing alternative solutions to minimize any stock outages as a result of internal or external issues.
- Balance of inventory levels in line with business requirements for continued supply, with a view towards optimum stock holding and reduced costs.
- Strong relationship building with suppliers in order to achieve maximum SLA's.
Key requirements:
- 8 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably with a focus on working with globally based CMOs.
- Proven track record of managing complex supply chains and achieving operational efficiencies.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
