A leading global banking institution with its European headquarters in Dublin is seeking a Senior Manager - Enterprise Risk to join its growing risk management function.
This role sits within the European Enterprise Risk team and supports the ongoing development and oversight of the bank's risk management framework, governance processes, and regulatory risk obligations across the region.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to ensure that enterprise risk practices remain aligned with regulatory expectations, strategic objectives, and evolving risk landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and ongoing enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework across European operations.
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of key risk governance and regulatory processes, including internal risk assessments and planning activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of risk reporting and analysis for senior management committees and board-level stakeholders.
- Coordinate periodic risk register reviews and collaborate with business units to identify and monitor emerging risks.
- Support the development and implementation of risk appetite frameworks and related policies.
- Contribute to stress testing, recovery planning, and scenario analysis initiatives.
- Partner with control functions and business teams to ensure consistent application of risk policies and procedures.
- Assist in the oversight of reputational, operational, and strategic risk topics.
- Support broader risk governance activities, including committee coordination and documentation where required.ement Framework and Risk Appetite Framework, liaising with relevant Group counterparts and local business lines and Control & Support functions as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience within Enterprise Risk, Risk Management, or Risk Governance in a financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and regulatory frameworks applicable to banking or financial institutions.
- Experience preparing or contributing to risk reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities and comfort working with risk data and frameworks.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business areas and functions.
