Exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join the corporate controllership team of a leading investment manager in Dublin City Centre.
This is a brilliant role for a qualified accountant with a proven track record of career growth and prior experience of European regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for detailed equity accounting and analysis, including complex partnership equity accounting analysis and management fee / carried interest computations
- Responsible for corporate reporting including preparation of quarterly financial statements and conducting analysis.
- Coordination of audits with external auditors
- Involvement with operational duties including month end close, expense analysis, regulatory reporting, banking and cash management reconciliations, etc.
- Assist with ad-hoc requests, investor questions, and work with colleagues across the business
- Frequent project coordination work
- Assist in driving process improvement and simplification
QUALIFICATIONS
- ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant with 6+ years PQE
- Big 4 / Top 10 trained is a distinct advantage
- Understanding of private funds, partnership accounting and financial instruments
- Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organisation
- Advanced user of Excel and highly proficient with MS Word and MS PowerPoint
- Proven ability to manage multiple demands and projects in a fast-paced work environment
