Senior Financial Accountant

A well-established independent finance provider in Ireland is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its growing team. Operating across multiple sectors within asset finance, this organisation offers an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to contribute to a dynamic and expanding business. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the role provides hands-on exposure to financial reporting, treasury, SPVs, and forecasting in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead management reporting, statutory accounting, and group consolidations
• Prepare cash flow and P&L forecasts for liquidity planning
• Review legal documents and SPV structures
• Manage audit processes and liaise with third-party providers
• Oversee month-end controls, VAT, and corporate tax returns
• Support treasury functions including liquidity and hedging analysis
• Maintain lease and HP system databases

Ideal Candidate:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2+ years' PQE
• Strong IFRS knowledge and experience with SPVs/securitisations
• Excellent Excel, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and time management abilities
