Our client is undertaking a large-scale migration programme involving the transition of French open-ended funds from an incumbent fund servicer. The programme spans multiple operational functions;Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, and Custody and requires a driven, experienced PM to coordinate delivery, manage stakeholders, and ensure a seamless transition with minimal operational disruption.
A key focus of this role is providing strong oversight and subject matter expertise from a Custody perspective, particularly around the transition of money market dealing activity into a custody/account keeping operating model.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a complex fund servicing migration programme involving French open-ended funds
- Coordinate migration activity across Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, and Custody workstreams
- Drive programme governance, planning, risk management and status reporting
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, including fund servicing partners, operational teams and senior leadership
- Ensure migration milestones, dependencies and deliverables are effectively managed and executed
- Provide strong oversight of custody-related migration requirements and operating model design
- Support the transition of money market dealing processes into a custody/account keeping framework
- Identify and mitigate operational, regulatory and delivery risks throughout the programme lifecycle
- Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution across cross-functional teams
- Ensure successful testing, operational readiness and go-live execution activities
Required Experience
- Proven track record delivering large-scale fund servicing or investment operations migration programmes
- Strong understanding of asset servicing operations across Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, and Custody
- Experience managing complex transition or transformation programmes within investment management, asset servicing or fund administration environments
- Demonstrable stakeholder management and governance experience at senior business and operational level
- Strong project delivery skills with experience managing timelines, dependencies and multi-stream programmes
- Fluency in French (written and spoken) - essential for this role given the French funds focus *but I would still be keen to catch up*
