The Opportunity
This role sits within the fund accounting team, with a focus on Private Equity and Private Debt funds. The successful candidate will be responsible for key deliverables such as NAV production, investor reporting, and supporting audit and financial statement preparation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Perform and review daily cash and position reconciliations
Calculate fund expenses, including management fees and carried interest/performance fees
Prepare investor allocations for each NAV cycle
Ensure timely and accurate completion of NAVs and associated client reports
Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and coordinate audit processes
Act as the primary operational point of contact for a portfolio of alternative investment clients
Support knowledge sharing and mentorship of junior team members
Contribute to internal projects and ad hoc tasks as required
Candidate Requirements
3-5 years' experience in a fund accounting role, ideally with exposure to alternatives (Private Equity, Private Debt)
Familiarity with fund structures and complex financial instruments
Strong understanding of waterfall calculations and fee structures
Advanced Excel skills essential; experience with eFront, Investran, or Geneva is a plus
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented approach
