Exciting opportunity with a leading Irish and UK name based in Dublin city centre
You will work as part of the Finance team taking full ownership of the payroll function. This is a great opportunity for someone to take full autonomy of payroll, processing IRL, whilst liaising with providers on UK payroll, and a small number of EMEA payslips. This role will suit someone who likes to take ownership of the payroll function, managing their own time day and desk whist working as part of the wider finance team.
9 month Maternity cover- August start date
Salary: DOE €45,000 - €50,000

Key duties and responsibilities:
- Ownership and preparation and verification of monthly payrolls and payment run for up to 250 employees.
- Checking and reviewing of payroll data for accuracy, ensuring deadlines are adhered too
- Liaising and managing relationships with outsourced payroll providers
- Assisting to reconcile monthly payroll accounts and prepare necessary journal entries.
- Assisting with budgeting and projections of payroll for the various entities
- Provision of payroll information to external European payroll bureaus for a small number of staff
- Ensure staff expenses are kept up to date and are correctly authorised.
- Responsibility for processing and reconciliation of employee pension payments and processing and reconciliation of employee Health Care BIK and payment to health care providers.
- Responsible for processing and reconciliation of bank transfers and funding to support payroll payments runs.
- Support managers, supervisors, and staff with payroll queries
- Entry of new hire information into payroll and HR systems and working closely with HR to maintain accurate up to date employee information
- Calculating and processing any intercompany payroll recharges
- Responsibility for payroll related payments to HMRC and Revenue
Person Specification and qualification:
- IPASS Qualification or similar desirable
- Experience of processing Ireland payroll
- Minimum of 3-4 years relevant payroll experience and knowledge
- Experience with UK and other EMEA countries is advantageous
- Ability to be methodical/orderly and accurate
- Team player able to work in busy environment
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
