    We are looking for an Accounts Assistant professional! This is an exciting opportunity to join a logistics company based in Dublin North. You will be supporting the Finance and Controlling team across EMEA, month end close and the audit for all the Irish entities. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment and a great opportunity to join a collaborative team.

    FTC 6 Months- with a strong view to permanency

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver a timely and accurate month‑end close, including preparation and posting of journal entries.
    • Produce meaningful variance analysis with clear commentary against budget and forecast.
    • Prepare monthly revenue analysis reports for four sites.
    • Prepare gross margin analysis reports for two sites.
    • Ensure all intercompany balances are fully reconciled for month‑end.
    • Support quarterly reconciliations for non‑trading entities.
    • Produce monthly reconciliations for the main trading entity and Treasury.
    • Ensure weekly billing is correctly loaded into SAP from CIS and Stratum.
    • Liaise with operations and other finance teams to ensure timely receipt of required information.
    • Support the annual Group and Statutory Audit, providing required documentation and explanations.
    • Prepare and manage the weekly cash forecast.
    • Manage daily Treasury postings, ensuring all items reconcile accurately.
    • Maintain and update the Treasury Loans report for Europe.
    • Perform additional ad‑hoc duties as required to support the wider finance function.
    • Double‑entry bookkeeping by recording each transaction as both a debit and a credit to keep accounts accurate.

    What You'll Need:

    • Proven experience in accounts 2-4 years' experience medium to a large organisation, preferably within logistics or a similar fast-paced industry.
    • Prior experience with Accounts Receivable or Credit Control 2-4 years' experience.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Experience of SAP & Oracle are desirable but not essential.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting).
