Due to continued growth and strategic expansion, they are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and supporting the next phase of their journey.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to optimise business processes, enhance client experience, and ensure robust governance frameworks are maintained.
Skills
- Relevant financial services qualifications (e.g. QFA or equivalent)
- Professional certification in Compliance or similar discipline highly advantageous
- Extensive experience in financial services, ideally within wealth management, financial planning, or brokerage environments
- Proven track record in an Operations Manager / Senior Operations / Team Leadership role
- Strong understanding of pensions and investment products, client onboarding, KYC processes, regulatory and compliance frameworks
- Experience supporting business growth, including acquisitions or integration projects, is highly desirable
- Hands-on, pragmatic approach with excellent problem-solving capabilities
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the brokerage, ensuring efficient and scalable processes
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operational and sales teams
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and innovation
- Manage operational budgets, resources, and workflow planning
- Enhance client onboarding, servicing, and overall customer experience
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators and partners
- Support and contribute to strategic projects, including system enhancements and process redesign
