NIS2 Senior Security Consultant - Compliance Role Overview
Senior Security Consultant required to lead NIS2 compliance activities across large-scale enterprise systems and ensure appropriate cybersecurity governance, controls and remediation plans are in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead NIS2 compliance and readiness assessments across enterprise IT environments.
- Identify security and compliance gaps and develop prioritised remediation plans.
- Manage cybersecurity risks, actions and dependencies through to closure.
- Review technical and organisational controls across infrastructure, cloud, applications and networks.
- Support incident response, business continuity and security governance requirements.
- Assess third-party and supply-chain cybersecurity risks.
- Coordinate activities across IT, Security, Risk, Legal, Compliance and business teams.
- Maintain NIS2 evidence, documentation and audit readiness.
- Provide senior stakeholders with clear reporting on risks, compliance status and remediation progress.
- Advise technical teams on implementation of appropriate security controls.
Key Experience
- Strong cybersecurity and technology risk experience within large enterprise environments.
- Detailed knowledge of NIS2 and recognised frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF or CIS Controls.
- Experience delivering security remediation or regulatory compliance programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management, governance and communication skills.
- CISSP, CISM, CRISC or ISO 27001 certification desirable.
