Mortgage Broker

Our client is expanding their Mortgage team and is seeking an experienced Mortgage Broker to manage customers through the full mortgage journey.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering sales targets, enhancing customer experience, and supporting the continued development of the mortgage sales function. The is hybrid role.

Skills

• Proven end-to-end mortgage experience in a brokerage is essential.
• APA (Mortgages) qualification essential; QFA or Professional Banker desirable.
• Strong understanding of mortgage regulation and compliance.
• Experience working with credit teams to progress applications.
• Demonstrated success in achieving application-to-completion targets.
• Ability to work effectively within a team in a target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to completion and drawdown.
• Provide proactive and responsive support to customers via digital and remote channels.
• Achieve agreed conversion and completion targets through effective pipeline management.
• Prepare detailed credit assessments to support underwriting decisions.
• Work collaboratively with sales, product, and credit teams to improve processes and outcomes.
• Identify and resolve process challenges in partnership with management.
• Generate additional business through personal networks alongside company-provided leads.
• Report performance and progress against objectives.
