Morgan McKinley is delighted to partner with a leading financial services organization currently seeking an experienced professional for an IT Vendor Relationship Manager position. This is a permanent role based in Dublin.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the effective governance, oversight, and performance management of a portfolio of third-party technology suppliers. Working closely with business owners, procurement, risk functions, and external partners, you will drive supplier performance, operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the supplier lifecycle.
Primary Functions:
- Supplier Relationship Management: Manage a portfolio of third-party supplier relationships, coordinate governance and service reviews, monitor performance against contractual obligations, and resolve operational issues.
- Third Party Risk & Governance: Support the execution of the Third Party Risk Management framework, overseeing onboarding, due diligence, ongoing monitoring, FSQS assessments, operational resilience, and exit planning.
- Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Support internal audits and regulatory reviews, ensuring adherence to frameworks such as DORA, Outsourcing guidelines, and Group Third Party Risk policies.
- Contract & Commercial Management: Assist with contract lifecycle activities, including reviews, renewals, amendments, terminations, and monitoring supplier commitments.
- Continuous Improvement: Enhance supplier governance processes, reporting, and tools, promoting best practice adoption across platforms such as Coupa and Hellios FSQS.
What We Are Seeking:
- Professional Background: Proven experience in Supplier/Vendor Management, Procurement, Technology Governance, or Third Party Risk Management within Financial Services, Banking, or Insurance.
- Functional Proficiency: Good understanding of third-party risk frameworks, supplier onboarding, contract governance, and audit support. Exposure to DORA, Operational Resilience, ISO27001, or SOC 2 is highly desirable.
