Investment Associate - Residential Development
Overview
We are seeking an Investment Associate to support the assessment and delivery of residential development opportunities. This role focuses on financial analysis, investment appraisal, and providing clear recommendations to support decision-making across projects at various stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess residential development opportunities and evaluate project viability
- Build and run financial models to support investment analysis
- Analyse key drivers including costs, values, and market conditions
- Gather and validate data such as rental values, asset values, and build costs
- Prepare clear investment commentary and reports for internal approvals
- Maintain project tracking data including key milestones and outcomes
- Collaborate with development, planning, and asset management teams
- Support early-stage feasibility and option analysis across projects
Requirements
- 4+ years' experience in real estate, development, investment, valuation, or corporate finance
- Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
- Relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g. SCSI, CFA, ACA/ACCA - desirable)
- Solid understanding of residential development viability
- Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
