Role Overview
As HSEQ Manager, you will take full responsibility for developing, implementing, and monitoring the company's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality management systems across multiple projects in Dublin. You will provide strategic leadership while ensuring full compliance with Irish legislation and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company's HSEQ strategy across Dublin-based projects
- Ensure full compliance with Irish health & safety legislation and environmental regulations
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSEQ policies and procedures
- Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Provide guidance and support to project managers and site teams on HSEQ matters
- Deliver training, toolbox talks, and awareness programmes across sites
- Monitor and report on HSEQ performance metrics to senior management
- Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement environment
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and external auditors as required
Candidate Requirements
- Third-level qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in an HSEQ leadership role within construction or engineering
- Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and environmental compliance requirements
- Experience managing ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to influence and drive behavioural change across multiple project teams
- Professional membership (IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent) desirable
