Job Summary
My client is a leading data centre based in Dublin. We are seeking an HR Business Partner for our head office in Dublin. The role involves providing strategic HR support, advising management on people-related matters, and ensuring effective HR practices across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with HR colleagues and line management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Key People Processes: Offer best practice advice and support, working with senior HR team members to design, communicate, and implement new processes related to talent management and succession planning.
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance to management and employees on resolving employee relations issues, ensuring that our policies and procedures foster a positive working environment.
- Talent Acquisition: Partner with the recruitment team to attract and retain top talent, continuously enhancing our employer brand.
- Learning and Development: Identify learning needs across business units, collaborating with partners to design and deliver effective L&D interventions.
- HR Projects: Lead HR projects, such as enhancing our Graduate Development Programme or designing key talent processes, ensuring successful implementation and communication once stakeholder approval is obtained.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in and deliver continuous improvement initiatives, offering cross-functional support in areas like payroll and recruitment.
- HR Metrics: Analyse trends and metrics with the HR team, proposing and implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement and experience.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, updating them as necessary to reflect new legislation and statutory requirements.
Requirements Skills & Experience
- Relevant degree with typically 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Ability to develop HR strategies and initiatives that support business goals.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws, with experience across mainland European jurisdictions being an advantage.
- Ability to handle sensitive personal data with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the HR team.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
