Finance Project Manager - Global Compliance
Our client is seeking a highly organised and delivery-focused Finance Project Manager to lead the compliance track of a large-scale finance system implementation. This individual will play a pivotal role in coordinating across business units, ensuring timelines are met, and driving alignment between global teams-all while maintaining a strong focus on compliance and control readiness.
About the Role
This position sits at the centre of a fast-moving, high-visibility program that spans multiple functions, regions, and stakeholder groups. It requires someone who is not only structured and detail-oriented, but also confident in driving accountability and navigating competing priorities.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the compliance workstream-from planning through execution-ensuring the business is prepared for both system change and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination: Develop and maintain detailed plans, timelines, and deliverables for the compliance workstream, aligned with overall program objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships across finance, operations. Gain buy-in and commitment from diverse groups through clear, consistent communication.
Global Collaboration: Coordinate with regional stakeholders and delivery partners, managing across time zones and varying operational contexts.
Compliance Alignment: Work closely with internal teams to identify potential control risks and ensure that compliance is built into business requirements and testing efforts.
Status & Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders, facilitate discussions around roadblocks, and drive resolution of issues in a timely manner.
Change Readiness: Support the business in understanding and preparing for changes related to new processes, controls, and responsibilities.

Preferred Experience
10 + years of experience contributing to and leading multidisciplinary, high-performing teams
In-depth knowledge of compliance requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)

Demonstrated expertise in evaluating and testing compliance controls and regulatory frameworks
