EHS Systems Manager
Location: Dublin or Athlone, Ireland (Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite)
Contract: 3-Year Fixed Term Contract
Travel: Infrequent US Travel
We are partnering with a global life sciences organisation to recruit an EHS Systems Manager on a 3-year fixed term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in integrating a newly acquired business into an established global Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) framework.
This role offers the chance to work across international sites, driving the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS management systems while partnering with stakeholders across Ireland and the US.

Reporting to the EHS leadership team, you will support the alignment of EHS systems across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring consistency, compliance, and best practice across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
Building and enhancing EHS management systems across multiple sites
Supporting the integration of a newly acquired business into existing EHS frameworks
Developing and maintaining EHS procedures, standards, and documentation
Leading audits, gap assessments, and compliance activities
Driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
Working closely with site teams and stakeholders to embed EHS best practices
Analysing EHS data and producing reports to support decision-making
Ensuring alignment with ISO standards and relevant US regulatory requirements
We're interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in EHS systems within manufacturing or other regulated environments.
You may come from industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, chemicals, FMCG, or advanced manufacturing.
To be successful, you'll likely have:
Experience building, implementing, or improving EHS management systems
Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001
Auditing experience within manufacturing environments
Experience developing procedures and managing EHS documentation
Exposure to multinational or multi-site organisations
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
An understanding of US regulatory requirements such as OSHA
Desirable experience includes:
Lead Auditor certification
Pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing experience
Experience supporting acquisitions or business integration projects
