Our client are one of the most profitable PLC's in Ireland, who specialise in developing residential properties across Ireland.
They are rapidly growing and are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join them initially on a 12 month contract, with strong view for permanency.
With offices in Dublin City Centre, they are operating with a hybrid working model, and are offering a competitive salary, bonus, pension and health.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with completion of month end management accounts
- Assist with the preparation of month end journals
- Balance sheet analysis and reconciliations
- Assist with group consolidation
- Assist in the development and management of the fixed asset register
- Assist in the documentation and evaluation of all finance processes and procedures
- Assist with the implementation of key financial controls
- Assist in the annual external audit process and preparation of year-end financial statements
- Preparation of bi-monthly VAT and monthly RCT returns
- Preparation of various management reports in an accurate and timely manner
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with ideally 2-3 years post qualification experience across accounting, finance control, reporting and business analysis
- Previous exposure to various accounting systems & internal control environments
- Strong excel knowledge with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
