We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our clients Dublin-based finance team. This role is ideal for a driven, high-energy accounting professional with multinational experience.
The successful candidate will manage multiple EMEA entities, oversee statutory reporting, and support Mergers & Acquisitions and liquidation processes. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role that requires adaptability, strong business judgment, and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Manage financial accounting and compliance for multiple EMEA entities under US GAAP and local GAAP.

Prepare corporation tax and VAT returns, statutory financial statements, and support audits.

Oversee M&A activities and the liquidation of dormant entities.

Review work from outsourced partners and ensure compliance timelines are met.

Support the Finance team in the design, testing, and rollout of financial reporting systems and processes.

Lead process improvement initiatives for scalability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors.

Provide ad hoc reporting and compliance support across international entities (France, Algeria, Greece, Denmark, Spain, UK, Israel).
Candidate Requirements
Essential:

2+ years post-qualification experience in accounting within large, fast-growing multinational organizations.

Experience managing multiple workstreams and EMEA entities.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with local GAAP.

Solid Excel and analytical skills; experience with Oracle ERP or similar systems preferred.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.

Comfortable managing cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Desirable:

Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions and entity liquidation.

Exposure to annual compliance and audits.

IFRS knowledge is advantageous.

Big 4 experience preferred.
