Our client is seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to join their team as they embark on a multi-year ERP transformation program. This ERP Project Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation across the international divisions.
The ideal candidate will have led multiple ERP implementation projects using Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Supply Chain ERP throughout their career and can bring best practice leadership and hands on experience to the team.
Key Responsibilities / Outcomes:
- Oversee the F&SCM ERP project from inception to completion, managing the entire SDLC process while coordinating internal and third-party resources as necessary.
- Create, update, and manage detailed project plans and forecasts, ensure project deliverables and scope are met, and address cross-functional challenges and change control.
- Coordinate and allocate resources according to the project plan.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for operational transformation, develop high-level strategic plans, build a project pipeline, secure funding, and execute identified initiatives.
- Understand and fulfill customer requirements by working closely with business stakeholders to ensure proper documentation and alignment.
- Partner with third-party vendors to deliver technical solutions, covering RFPs, solution architecture, development, testing, and implementation.
- Collaborate with the testing team to establish quality assurance plans and confirm successful delivery of project requirements.
- Manage business readiness for migration efforts, ensuring solutions are effectively transitioned, users are adequately trained, operational support plans are in place, and the business is prepared for launch.
- Effectively manage risks, issues, and dependencies within your workstream and across the wider transformation program, escalating any critical issues to senior stakeholders as needed.
- Track project progress, monitor performance, maintain budget oversight, and provide governance and reporting at the project level.
Key Skills, Experiences & Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, IT, or a related discipline.
- A proven track record with a minimum of 10 years managing transformative, business-facing ERP projects.
- Strong leadership capabilities in guiding cross-functional teams across various Business Units in a global environment.
- Deep commercial insight, with the ability to immerse in the business across multiple departments for extended periods.
- Extensive experience in managing vendors and system integrators.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to focus on the appropriate level of detail needed for project success.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems and trace implications step by step.
- Comprehensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM implementations.
- Expertise in best-practice project management methodologies, with relevant qualifications such as PMP, IPMA, or Prince2.
- Prior experience working within a CSV (Computer System Validation) environment.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical, FMCG, and Supply Chain sectors.
- Willingness and ability to travel to company locations across Ireland, the UK, and Europe as needed to meet project objectives.
