A fantastic public sector client is hiring an Equity Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) & Wellbeing Advisor!
This role is focused on providing support for EDI and Wellbeing within a comprehensive People Function team.
You'll collaborate closely with colleagues from across the People Function as well as the wider organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to support the People Function's strategic initiatives and manage day-to-day operations that enhance the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the EDI & Wellbeing Manager to implement the EDI & Wellbeing strategy, aligning and driving initiatives in collaboration with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and internal stakeholders across the organisation.
- Collaborate with internal and external communications teams to engage, educate, and inspire employees in line with the EDI & Wellbeing strategy.
- Partner with external networks to organise events, share best practices, and benchmark EDI and Wellbeing efforts.
- Contribute to the research, review, and update of policies related to EDI and Wellbeing.
- Maintain and enhance EDI & Wellbeing content on the corporate intranet, ensuring effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Take ownership of and manage the centralised EDI and Wellbeing events calendar.
- Oversee the end-to-end payment process, including account setup, payment and invoice processing, and budget tracking.
- Register events on the Learning Management System to enable employee self-registration, manage bookings, and respond to inquiries.
- Monitor and manage the EDI & Wellbeing mailbox, ensuring timely responses.
Required Skills & Experience
- At least two years of relevant experience in EDI, Wellbeing, or similar roles, with a focus on promoting positive workplace culture.
- Strong project management skills and a results-driven approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in developing communications and digital media content using tools like MS Teams, Canva, Survey Monkey, and video editing software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience in designing and delivering in-person events and webinars.
