Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and coordinate domestic transport movements across Ireland to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Allocate fleet resources efficiently, managing driver schedules and vehicle availability.

Monitor real-time delivery progress, proactively addressing any delays, route issues, or customer escalations.

Work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.

Optimise routes and delivery loads to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and maintain service levels.

Liaise with customers to confirm delivery windows, resolve issues, and provide regular updates.

Ensure compliance with all transport legislation, health & safety standards, and company policies.

Maintain accurate transport data within systems and prepare daily/weekly performance reports.
What We're Looking For

2-5 years' experience in transport planning, dispatching, or road freight coordination.

Strong knowledge of Irish geography, domestic haulage, and road transport regulations.

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Proficient in transport management systems (TMS), GPS tracking, and route planning tools.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to operational challenges.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills - confident working with drivers and customers alike.

Knowledge of tachograph rules, vehicle maintenance scheduling, and transport compliance is an advantage.
