    About the role:

    My client is currently seeking an ambitious and dynamic Customer Engagement Agent to join their sales team based in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking organisation that prides itself on delivering outstanding service and strengthening its leadership position in the market.

    In this role you will play a vital part in maximising customer relationships, driving growth and ensuring excellence in service delivery. You will be the first point of contact for both internal and external customers, providing professional and efficient support across customer engagement and service functions.

    Responsibilities of the role:

    • Build long-term working relationships by understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional service.
    • Act as a key link between customers and Trade Marketers, helping to resolve queries and enhance business growth opportunities.
    • Support brand launches and initiatives such as cross-sell, up-sell, trials and awareness campaigns, contributing to strategic engagement and KPI achievement.
    • Process customer orders through SIEBEL and SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with service level agreements.
    • Respond to customer enquiries promptly via phone, fax and email (covering new accounts, closures, deliveries, documentation and orders).
    • Raise credit notes for undelivered stock where required.
    • Take ownership of allocated team tasks, supporting the Customer Services Manager in achieving departmental goals.

    Requirments:

    • A Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification (essential)
    • At least 1 year of experience in a busy customer service or telesales environment.
    • Strong PC skills, particularly with MS Office.
    • Experience with SAP and Siebel is a distinct advantage.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • A proactive, customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
